Veeivs is seeking a Senior Technical Lead specializing in Backend Systems, who will lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-scale platforms. This position requires a strong blend of backend development expertise in Node.js, modern DevOps practices, and enterprise architecture design.
You will oversee the entire technical lifecycle — from prototyping to production — while also actively participating in coding, architectural decision-making, and team leadership. The role demands hands-on technical leadership and a proven track record of delivering scalable, secure, and innovative enterprise solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, architect, and implement enterprise-grade backend systems, ensuring scalability, robustness, and security.
- Lead technical design sessions and architectural reviews for distributed applications and microservice architectures.
- Maintain a hands-on role in writing clean, scalable, and efficient code using Node.js/TypeScript.
- Drive DevOps practices — CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, containerization, and cloud deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, DevOps, Frontend/Backend Developers) to translate business requirements into engineered solutions.
- Stay current with emerging backend frameworks, cloud technologies, and enterprise architecture trends.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across backend services and infrastructure.
- Mentor and lead development teams, fostering a high-performance engineering culture.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for candidates with 5–7 years of experience in full-stack or backend development, with at least 1+ years in a technical lead role.
Programming & Backend Development
- 5–7 years of backend development experience, with Node.js/TypeScript as the primary stack.
- Strong understanding of API development (REST, GraphQL), microservices, and event-driven systems.
- Proven ability to deliver clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
Architecture & Enterprise Solutions
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable, enterprise-grade architectures.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native, distributed, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with architectural frameworks, design patterns, and scalability best practices.
DevOps & Infrastructure
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Strong command over containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Soft Skills
- Demonstrated leadership and mentorship experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to perform under pressure in agile, fast-paced environments.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs300,000.00 – Rs400,000.00 per month
